Steel sharpens steel folks. The Charity would be open to all though. We are still hopefull for a "Clash of the Titans" search threads in CSPO games. which would see Units 2,4, and 3 meeting somewhere in Manitoba......

toad my friend, its comments like that that make me smile... or laugh outright.
i would like to see unit 3 roll together in the near future... like barrie big game last year. we, up here haven't gotten to travel as much as we would have liked to this year due to life happening....
shoulder sized patch is the way to go in my books.

Oct 23, Fund raiser for cancer. Approx 40-50$ entry BYOP, camping, BBQ, washrooms etc available. Location to be announced upon completion of negotiations next week. Sound good?

everyone is making excellent points but here lays the problem some members want a game to decide patches which could be fun and some just wanna design something and vote. Aside from the patch there should be no reason a game could not be had for cancer or wounded warrior regardless. I fear us attaching this an that to the patch idea is gonna eventually just fizzle out the idea back to Zero unit 3 patch. It was an idea to bring unity a you see already there is 2 divisions already..lol. Man oh man I should have left the idea in the drawer. 
I would love to see some of those designs you guys cooked up back in the day. bet there was some great ones.

I also supported a larger, unit patch idea back in the day.
...and I remember some excellent design ideas put forth by various members of the 3rdHerd.
The one in particular, was a gold colored maple leaf in a triangular frame.
I believe it was a combination of ideas by Joker and Holliwood(something like that anyway)
There was talk of another brigade sized patch,
but I believe most opted for the larger shoulder patch.
As for another big unit 3 game or S3 game, sure!
Why not a fund raiser for cancer or wounded warriors or a combination thereof?

LOL so my death match was a little exhaggerated. You catch the drift though like I said if you posed that idea before an event like frenemies it would have worked out perfect but to host another event Squad vs Squad vs squad and getting each an every squad present might be a lot of leg work with all the other events left in the latter part of 2010. Excellenet idea but wrong time I guess. To throw something like that might push it into early next year. I was thinking of this batch being on our arms by the time Unit 3 is streamlined if not earlier. If you manage to set something up with senior officers though no worries. GTV will be here to support the best we can for sure
