Operation Expendable Forces
Game formate was CSPO rules, head and torso eliminations. If you call hit you're out. 6 hrs of non stop game play.
Weather was cloudy to overcast. Warm and humid, with some rain near the 2/3's point of the game.
Terrain varied from low bush and open trails to thick dense forest, with rolling hills through out. What I would consider excellent for this kind of game.
13 teams with 101 shooters in attendance
Registration started near the 8 am mark, game play was delayed by shortage of co2 and fill stations not co-operating. Play began around the 12:40 mark. And ended around 18:40
13 teams hit the field from individual starting points at the same time. While some walked away with out firing a shot, others came into direct fire at once making for an exciting time.
The main objective was to locate and hold the scientist that was being protected by D-man and myself. There were other objectives that were given to the team holding the scientist as to keep him moving on the field, thus putting the holding team at risk.
Also there was a missile that was to be assembled from parts located on the field and launched. While some teams did find some of the parts this objective was not completed. This would have been worth 15 minutes of hold time (if memory serves me correctly).
The game ended with prizes awarded. 2525.00 in cash that worked out to 9.47/minute for holding the scientist. As well as 29 boxes that had to be safely removed from the field of play with out dying equaled another 2100.00.
In all, I good time was had by all that attended.
I do wish to say thank you to all that helped out, that donated prizes and time, and that showed their support by playing. Thus making our first attempt at a big game such a success.

Truthfully
We have discussed this and as the location we have was obtained on a number of presentations being made and in everyone one the environment was cause number one and FS rounds will break down in time just not in a two day and rain way we have chosen not to allow them at this location to respect the ski club and with hopes they will let us back next year.

yes course we have facilities for the better side of paintball
the mean reason for us not useing our private field is so we will have washrooms and water and a large open flat sandy camp area.

Regarding comments-it's all friendly, let's keep it to paintball and have fun. Remember....steel sharpens steel. Let's all hope for some good solid competition....everyone becomes better as a result.

k we have squads forming up here quick and slow but i vow they only know what everyone knows.
only five have walked the boundies once and we aren't playing
co2 will be on site but don;t count on HPA
best plan to bring your own
