For Immediate Release – August 2010 Contact: Kaspar Cameron contact@toppaintballsniper.com
Top Paintball Sniper official event
(Toronto, ON – August 2010) On September 18th 2010, starting at 9:00am, the first Top Paintball Sniper event will be taking place at Ground Zero Paintball in Gananoque, ON.
Paintball series in the past have always been about how well a team can compete against other teams, usually on inflatable bunker fields or the scenario field. Snipers by nature however operate in teams of two or on their own; this is where the Top Paintball Sniper series will set itself apart from the other events. For years there have been discussions and debates as to the existence of true paintball snipers, now there is a medium to show those that don’t believe in the idea that there actually is a lone player on the field that can make all the difference.
Based on concepts from the real world, the Top Paintball Sniper events are actual skills challenges, where targets are engaged and not another human. Decisions are made by the individual competitors and those decisions will not only impact their standings but also allow them to show off their individuality.
The first event will put the skills of the sniper to the challenge based on real world skill sets that are required of all Snipers. The skills evaluated include marksmanship, patience, observation skills, stealth and concealment.
Early bird registration for the event has ended on 20 August 2010, pre-registration however is still open to all that wish to compete and will end on 17 September 2010. Competitors can still register day of at the door if they so choose.
Although snipers by nature are lone wolves, the Top Paintball Sniper community will be coming together as a single entity to support the Wounded Warriors.ca charity. Through several different programs, the Wounded Warriors.ca charity supports members of the Canadian Forces who are injured while serving their country. Their different projects truly show the members of our Canadian Forces that even if they are injured, Canada still stands behind them.

No I have not, unfortunately I am out in Vancouver, as much as I would like to make my way down to the east(heard you guys have awesome scenario games)I just don't have the time or funding. I'll be laughing if someone wins with standard .68 paintballs. That guy has pure skill if he can beat out first strike

Understood, sorry for the breach.
Range isn't an issue when you have First Strike...now I just need to find a field that allows it...

I understand and appreciate ur concern. However this competition has been sanctioned via the CSPO which i am a member in good standing.
I would never attempt to use the CSPO site to try and attract members for an organization that would not be affiliated with the CSPO and/or CSPO approved.
The purpose of the Top Paintball Sniper competition is not only for tournament of skills but to raise funds and awareness for the Wounded Warriors http://www.woundedwarriors.ca charity that assists Canadian Veterans and their family's directly.
Hope this clears up any confusion. |

Please remember that recruiting for paintball organizations on the C.S.P.O. website for non-C.S.P.O. groups if disallowed. For more information, please refer to your local Commander or to the CDS directly. Also please remember, in paintball, if they are in range, so are you. Have a great day.

That is a very good quote, i enjoyed that!
We are now called Top Paintball Sniper. Please visit us at http://toppaintballsniper.com or on the Facebook grp posted on the first post.
At the moment we have two events for this year in Ontario, but are already planning events in as many provinces and through out the US for the 2011/2012 season.
We wish our events to be much more then just a competition, we would ideally like this to be a meet n greet and training workshop for paintball sniper enthusiasts like yourself. This is also a great opportunity for manufactures and vendors to showcase their newest products.
It is our main goal to have everyone who attends to walk away with more knowledge regarding the latest innovations, technology, the craft of good marksmanship and stealth in the sport of milsim paintball.
Hope to see u around! |

Paintball Sniping - hiding in the weeds and trying to one ball people who are carrying enough paint to paint a small car and are also capable of shooting it fast enough to do it in less than the time it takes to read a stop sign
I love that quote, I have some training in the art of "sniping" through the Canadian Forces. Where are you located in Canada?
