Hey guys, I'm sorry to say, I wont be able to do much promoting of CSPO at the local fields this summer.
I just bought a sailboat and I'll likely be out every weekend until the weather turns colder, then I will be able to hit up the woods fields.
If anyone wants to do some recruiting I do have all the gear (rec cards, patch kit, banners, etc) and I can loan it out over the weekend (ie. pick up on thursday bring back on tuesday) for someone who is going to actively use it.
I may be able to drop in midweek some time as I have received a very friendly invitation from Richmond Indoor to pop by and try to organize some CSPO events there in the future but like with the sport of paintball the sport of sailing is pretty engrossing and its easy to get obsessed.
I think that rec cards would be a great idea, if not for the simplicity they would also do wonders to present the CSPO as a serious organization.
I have also heard nothing but good things about richmond indoor regarding the CSPO, I think I may have to investigate it for myself, Has anyone palyed there representing the CSPO recently?

I can get you some rec cards if you like Connor, although with the new recruitment system in place it is almost easier to simply bring a field notebook and obtain the e-mails of people so you can plug them into the system (and get the chits).
If you want to borrow one of the banners I can loan it to you over the weekend.
I think I still have a bundle of CSPO rec cards at home, not a ton of them but a small stack. Some of them may still have my nick written on them, I can take a look after the long weekend.
I also have patch kits although there are no brigades left. I have to make more of the brigades, I have all of the materials I just have to figure out how Adam did it. I think I have it figured out with exception of the adhesive.
If would be awesome if we could get some fresh faces out promoting CSPO in the stores and at the fields. All the drama of yesteryear has blown over and with the 30% annual attrition rate in paintball there should be a lot of new fresh faces in the sport.
Send me a PM and maybe we can get together and I can get you some of the materials that I already have to get you started. I'll be able to get out and abouts when the weather cools off.
In the meantime I'm learning how to pilot the CSPO's only paintball naval vessel. ;-)

I've been doing my thing at Blackwatch mostly but if I can snag some reccards for when I hit up the scenario games we might get some attention.
Fingers crossed.

Can loan you all the recruiting stuff you need. I do have some rec cards but not a lot. With the new recruitment system they are somewhat obsolete as all you need to do is take down their email. I can give you whatever i have

If you have a banner, we can put it up at Richmond Indoor Paintball.

Ok. I have 3 so I could certainly get you a banner for a long term loan for such a high visibility location.. That would be frickin awesome. I'll also toss you some rec cards and a holder to pop on the desk, provided I can find the holder.
You should consider becoming a squad leader and building up a unit.

I havenoporblem going to richmond indoor. I hear they are cspo friendly. we do have the rec cards but no unsigned ones at this time. a box is about 40 bucks. patches and rec posters are good ways toalso get noticed. Do you have your brigade patches and rank patch? also, a simple printout of our logo with some of ou rpictures photoshopped on works wonders as well.for added craft fun,cut tabs into the bottom of the poster and add the web address. i will try to do some check ins at the fields before the season ends but the weekend is when i make my money so no promises. I will let everyone know before I go in case you wish to join me. thatis all for no troops. keep up the good work.

This is getting kind of moot as boating season is coming to a close.
I'm going to go out and hit the fields looking for the hard core players over the winter. RIP should be really busy during the rainy season and given how friendly Neoh is recruitment should be a good start to get this puppy rolling again.
I'll have to concoct a more solid system for recruiters and squad leaders so we dont have the same problems with tin gods and drama as we did in the past. It's a game for christ sakes why do people have to get all nutty. Just build it up and enjoy the results!
